Super Hero Shuffle 5k Run and WALK
Meet our 2016 Super Hero - Jackson Steinkuehler!
On June 18th 2016, Jackson Steinkuehler celebrated a very important milestone. It has been almost three years since he was diagnosed with a Grade 3 Anaplastic Ependymoma, a tumor the size of a golf ball that was lodged between his brain stem and cerebellum. He endured four brain surgeries and several complications, but he went on to complete six weeks of radiation and four months of chemotherapy. Today Jack is a fun-loving four-year-old whose greatest joy is having his family all around to play with him. The Steinkuehler family is forever grateful to Jack's amazing medical team at St. Louis Children's Hospital for saving the life of their loving little boy.
